About Me
Hello Beautiful Yogi’s
Most would say everything happens for a reason… I don’t know, but I’m happy you found yourself here.
I’m Alex Storey: a 500-hr certified yoga and meditation teacher, a lifelong student, and someone who’s passionate about finding balance in this busy, beautiful life. When I first landed on my yoga mat over a decade ago, I’ll be honest — it was all about the physical practice. But it didn’t take long for yoga and meditation to crack me wide open in the best way, waking up parts of my mind and soul that had been quietly waiting for me. Now, my practice is the heartbeat of my life — and I can’t imagine a day without it.
I’m here to offer you that same gift: movement not just for your body, but nourishment for your mind and spirit too. And just as importantly — stillness.
My teaching blends strength and energy with grounding and mindfulness. I love building dynamic flows that make you feel powerful and connected, while always leading you back home to yourself — your truest self.
Coming from the corporate world, I know how easy it is to get caught up in the rush of everyday life and forget to nurture your own soul. That’s why I’m passionate about helping you carve out even a few minutes each day just for you — because those small moments are where transformation lives.
Over the last few years, my own journey has deepened even more through life experiences like navigating the highs and lows of fertility. It’s taught me, over and over again, the power of patience, surrender, resilience, and self-compassion. That same spirit — grounded yet free, rooted yet open — is what I bring into every practice I share.
One thing you should know about me: I believe in real balance.
While the yoga world can sometimes feel a little too serious, I take a "rule-free" approach to this lifestyle. I meditate daily... and I also shamelessly watch Real Housewives. I eat local, organic food... but never turn down fries or a slice of pizza. I spritz essential oils everywhere... while sipping a glass of natural wine. Life is meant to be lived fully — and joyfully.
At my core, I’m just someone who deeply loves this life, this Earth, and this wild human experience we’re all navigating. I believe in celebrating it all — the sacred, the messy, the beautiful — with an open heart.
If you’re looking for a space where you can be strong and soft, grounded and free, serious about growth and serious about joy — you’re in the right place.
